Music Sheet Flower Magnet

As I mentioned before, I have had a couple of projects going.  One of them is my very first holiday bazaar.  I am so excited!  I had wanted to do one last year, but time got away from me.  This year, I signed up as early as I could.  I am making a few things for it.  One of them are these adorable flower magnets.

Here is how I did it...

These are the supplies you will need.

Buttons

Scissors

Glue Sticks and Glue Gun

Magnets

Sheet Music

Pen

The first thing you need to do is draw a flower shape on your sheet music.  I did three different sizes.  I then cut out three of each size.

Next you need to start stacking the flower.  Use just a dab of the hot glue to make them stick.  You want to use all three big ones, and then all three medium ones, and then the small ones.  Make sure that you turn each layer, so it makes a full flower shape.

Here is what it should look like after you have stacked all of them.

Next step is to glue down a little button right in the center of your flower

The last step is to put a magnet on the back of it. I wanted some depth to mine, so I fluffed the edges a little.

I am definitely going to be making these for gifts this year.  My girlfriends will love them.

Here it is on my refrigerator. I think they look much better than the carpet cleaning magnet that we got the last time we had our carpets cleaned!
