When I first started painting furniture, My budget for furniture was pretty small. I would mostly stick to end tables and other small pieces. Now that my business has grown, I only buy furniture that is good quality. I don't mind spending money to make sure that I am putting the best product out there that I can. I have found some amazing pieces lately.
I found this piece on one of my FB groups. I loved it right away. I was so lucky to snag it up. A lot of people wanted it! It pays to check often!
Before
It was in great condition, so the only thing I had to do to was wipe it down. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
After!
I love how this turned out. In fact I love it so much, that It's in my house. I don't normally keep my pieces, but this one kinda stole my heart!
I painted the body in Annie Sloan's Old White. Let me just say that I struggle every time I paint with white. I end up having to paint at least 4 coats. With Annie though, only 2 coats. Great coverage. It's the only white I will ever use again.
For the drawers, I mixed up a custom color.
Have any of you ever loved a piece so much that you just couldn't sell?
XOXO
